Last updated: 2026-08-29
Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of StudioShelf's AI image generation services. By uploading content, entering prompts, or downloading generated images, you agree to the rules below. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, credit forfeiture, and referral to authorities where required by law.
Prohibited content
You may not use StudioShelf to generate, store, distribute, or request content that falls into any of the following categories:
1. Sexually explicit or pornographic material, including nudity intended for sexual gratification (NSFW). 2. Graphic violence, gore, or content that glorifies physical harm. 3. Hate speech, harassment, or content that attacks individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics. 4. Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that sexualizes minors. 5. Deepfakes, impersonation, or non-consensual synthetic imagery of real, identifiable people. 6. Content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights, including copyrighted works, trademarks, trade secrets, or publicity rights. 7. Fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading product imagery intended to misrepresent goods for sale. 8. Malware, exploits, or instructions for illegal activities.
Your responsibilities
You must have the legal right to use any image you upload. You are responsible for reviewing generated output before publishing or selling it. StudioShelf provides tools; you remain the publisher of any final image used in commerce.
Enforcement
We enforce this AUP through automated prompt screening, manual review, and user reports. If we determine that content violates this policy, we may: (a) block the offending generation, (b) remove stored output, (c) suspend or terminate your account, (d) forfeit any remaining credits, and (e) disclose relevant information to law enforcement or affected rights holders when required by law.
Reporting violations
To report abusive or illegal output, email abuse@aistudioshelf.com with the job ID, a description of the issue, and (if available) a screenshot or URL. We aim to review reports within 48 hours.
Changes
We may update this AUP as technology, law, or risk patterns evolve. The current version is always available at /acceptable-use. Continued use after changes means acceptance of the revised policy.
